i have b/g twins(4 mos)and a 21 mos old boy. needless to say we're stressed out. most of the time it's a do able kind of stress. however, the tension is incredible betw/ myself and my ball and chain...i mean the love of my life. he's gone @ work all day, plays w/ our oldest for 1/2 hour, MAYBE changes a diaper, and then it's "ok mom, take over, they're stressing me out right now".I'm w/ them all day, most of the night too since i'm breastfeeding(they've just started sleeping through the night, lets hope its a habit)and he's stressed after 30 lousy minutes?!? and then after a hard evening of watching the yankees, he's busting my chops about how i go to bed @9:30 and my low(ie complete lack)of sex drive.AGGGGGHH.does anyone have advice? b/c my idea of romance does not include lovemaking on piles of unfolded laundry and unvacuumed carpets.

Oh yes - those days are not too far behind me!!! Mine turn 1 yr. tomorrow, and my oldest will be four at the end of the week. Lucky you, they are sleeping through the night - consider it a blessing!!! I am still breastfeeding, and they are still NOT sleeping through the night. I have to admit though, my husband is wonderful - but regardless, it never feels that I get enough help either, and lack of sleep does put a damper on any intimacy! I got mine to understand that until I got a full night's sleep, I couldn't be in any mood for extra curicular activities!! It gets easier when the babies can start entertaining each other (I noticed once they were able to sit unassisted that they enjoyed each other). Once they were crawling I actually got laundry done during the day. Because of the older one, I know how you feel, naps are out of the question for you, so just hang in there. If your husband is solution oriented (most want to try and solve your problems) suggest him hiring some help for you so you can get some rest. That may make you feel better about how he is helping, and who knows what will come of it!! (Make sure you have proper birth control!!!)...
