I am a 33 year old mother of four females. The oldest is 5, the middle is 3 and my twins are 2. We had four childrenages 3 and under. My pregnancy with the twins was very high risk. They were mono/mono twins. This is when the fertalozed egg splits around 8 days after conception. The problem is there is only one sac and one placenta for two babies to share. When the high risk obgyn said "What I'm telling you is that you might come in here one day and find out the nobody is home." Those words haunted me over and over and still to this day. I prayed and God answered my prayers. However, now that everyone is healthy, I think I'm going to loose my mind. I have no social life and I would like to talk to other people who might have a similar situation.

Hi I'm 34 and a mother of four. I have a 16 year old boy, 5 year old girl and 5month old boy/girl twins. I give you a lot of credit having four so close in age. I also have no social life that doesn't revolve around the kids so I can certainly understand your situation. It's amazing how quickly life changes once you have kids. Even going to the grocery store is a huge ordeal. I would love to talk to moms in the same situation.

What is it like having identical twins. My twins are supposedly fraternal, but I think they are identical. We had DNA tests done but I don't believe the results. The test was done at the same hospital that threw out my placenta when I asked about 20 times when I'll get the results back about my babies babies being identical. They said the placenta was the way to find out if they are identicalor not. And thay said I had to wait for the reults when they knew all along the placenta was in the garbage because I was the only person it was important to.They lied to me once so how can I believe them again especially when my husband and my first born have the same name.(We all had to have our blood drawn). How am I to know they didn't switch the blood on purpose because I wanted proof that they are identical . Every time I called to get the results they always called them "the Identcal Twins"( because I was told by my OB that they were clinically identical because there was one placenta and thay shared the outside sac)? I mean they have the same coloring, blood type, same size, they look so much alike. I can't afford to have another DNA test done again. Can somebody help me. i just can't let it go.
