Hi everyone!! I'm trying to figure out the best way to keep my 9 month old twin girls in a safe area while I try to accomplish at least one chore for the day. Did you all get seperate playpens or do you have other suggestions?? All of your advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi, My twins are now nearly 3. I found travel cots a really good idea as you can also use them for going away, if you have the space for two then they are a great, or how about taking turns in a travel cot and high chair. I put both of my boys in the travel cots together when they were about one, this was a BIG mistake as they managed to remove each others nappies/diapers. Not a pleasant experience!

I am having the same trouble with my 8 month old twin boys Right now I have a room blocked off with furniture from around the house but I'm sure soon they will figure out how to get by. I hate the thought of seperate playpens. If I figure out anything I'll let you know

I plan on getting a gated play area for my twins once they start getting mobile. The one I want is the Musical Infant Toddler Playland by Today's Kids. I think it should be big enough for both of them to play inside.

Hi. I have 9 month old twin boys. I think a really good option before and after the babies are mobile are those bouncing swings you can attach to your ceiling. They build their leg strength while giving them movement with limited mobility. They stay where you put them and they can swing or bounce or walk around in a circle. The best part-- babies love them. Keeping their attention focused on fun not on Mom!!

Getting chores done !!! Who can manage that ? My girls are 5 1/2 now and the third one is 19 months younger and 4 next week. I vaguely remember their younger years (the cleaning never ends) and I'm afraid to say that I still follow them around the house as they destroy one room after another - quite often they overtake me. I do believe that the "Jolly Jumper" was my sanity saving device and I even got to throw stuffed toys at them for a change while they were hanging around. Seriously though, at that age I was too busy just watching their antics to really get anything done and having 4 cats to distract them helped a lot.

Hi everyone, I accomplish my housework while my twin boys 20 month old, sleeping. I shake out the rugs, then I sweep the floors and then I wash them. While the floor is drying I dust in the livingroom. Last are the bathrooms(toiletts ect.) Thats how I get my things done. Twinmom Sabine from Germany

When my twin girls were lil......I used one playpen. They are now almost 2 and STILL want to be in a playen together....lol(usually only used the playpen for travel tho) While I am doing things around the house that allow me to see the girls(laundry for example...I take the clothes to the living room to fold where they are playing)they run free in the house. But while doing things that turn my back to them...such as dishes........they seem to have no problem with quiet play in their room. I use a baby gate in their doorway and leave the door open so they can see out and I can check in easily on them. They're bedroom is childproof.... and I know what toys are safe for them to play with while playing "un-monitored". All seems to go well......they do their bedroom play just b4 nap time...and seem to like this routine. And the naptime is a bonus time frame to get things done...OR....just to take a break...lol.

My twins girls are 1 1/2 yrs old now but when they were born we decided to get two of everthing,I'm glad we did! As newborns we kept them in a basinet that work fine for awhile but when they get bigger they roll over on each other or get turned side ways and kick one another and wake each other up.Also we got 2 3-in-1 cribs, but to do my chores I put them in swings that was great!! they practicly lived in them. 1stmomtwins (1st time mom with twins)
