I can't stand it when people fuss over us like we are 5 just because we are twins. Also when people say "Oh, Are they twins" when it is pretty obvious we are!

Just fuss at them and say.. "Oh are you a Singleton?" and stuff. My sister and I, when we have "Twin moments" and non-twins look at us weird we just say.. "You wouldn't understand, Singleton." lol.

That happens to us all the time! People stop us in the street and ask dumb questions like "Wow, do you guys have the same birthday?"

It's so annoying! But we just smile and answer the questions as politely as we can

hi me my sister hate that people stopped us to ask"are u twins"and another question "when feel pain yr sister feel this pain at the same time"
people like to talk to us not cuz of our personality but cuz we r just twins

Ha Ha Ha Yes people still ask my twin and I if we are twins, and we are as identical as could be! we are 2 min apart and my name is Karla and my twins name is Erica, when you get to be our age you wish you would have done more twin stuff together! We will be 23 in May 2004

I hate when strangers start talking to my sister and i just because we are identical. They just keep asking more and more questions... "which one is older?" ... "which one is the evil twin?" ... "when you look at each other is it like looking in a mirror?" ahhhh its so frustrating!

Okay, so maybe my sister and I are a *little* (okay a lot) sarcastic, but we've come up with canned answers for all the stupid questions we get....(after 27 years, we've heard them all)...

Q:"are you guys twins?" A:"no, we're cousins" or "no we've never met before today" (then the asker argues with us so we ask why he asked in the first place

Q: "who's smarter/prettier/etc" A:"I'm the pretty one she's the smart one (which doesn't matter, we've jsut decided on an answer to give to people)....if the ask who's the evil twin, we tell them there was an evil 3rd one, but we got rid of her (her name's Stephanie)

Q: "did you just switch places in school and take tests for each other?" A: "like I'd trust her to take my test"

The best part is when we're out with our mom and someone asks if we're twins. My mom's respons is always all three of us are (she's an identical twin too). She gets the funniest looks at that one!!!

You know it is really frustrating when people ask if my identical brother and i are twins and we say no, well kind of but we are tripletts and then you throw the fact that my other twin is a sister man that throws people for a loop. They ask if she is identical to us . Its all i can do to just answer now how is that possible if she is a girl and we are guys

Hey i really think it sucks how people treat me and my twin sister as one person just because we are twins, not as individuals, we always get the same gifts from people and everything, and when my sister was away in Japan for a year, everyone kept asking if i missed her, just cause we are twins, i mean sure i missed her but its not like it would kill me

hehe I still have people that I work with and deploy with to foreign countries asking me if my twin really looks like me. This last deployment, one of our contractors got on my case for not saying hi to him at the base commisary. I looked at him like he grew a second head and asked him when that was. I found out it was when I was deployed before and my twin had been on base driving my car. I still get asked on occasion, even after being in the military for over 4 years with her, "Are you guys seriously twins?" and our reply is always "Nope just clones the military is trying out". That answer always gets weird looks but people dont question it any more.
