My family and I took a trip to London a couple years ago. We hired an escort named Hans. He was having trouble telling which twin was which (my brothers are twins too remember, so he had trouble with them).

well, he took us to our hotel and we (shannan and I had a wonderful view from a deck!!!)each got separate rooms. Daddy was willing to give his twins their own rooms but we said no.

that night dad knocked on our door and told us to be ready in an hour cause we were going to some cool resturant(cant spell). Shannan asked me if I wanted to switch-places to confuse Hans. I said yes.

I didnt see how we were going to CONFUSE him but we hadnt switched places for...ever so i said yes. She and I didnt have to switch clothing because we already dress identical.

we planned it ALL out and an hour later we were sitting at a table. the spots had been chosen. our names were by a chair when we arrived. so i sat where shannan's name was and shannan sat where my name was. I think Oliver and Owen saw what we had done because they were whispering and looking at us. and they were laughing.

Hans looked at shannan. "So sydney, what grade are you in?" hans asked. "7th grade" shannan and i said together. he looked at me. "I thought you were shannan" he said. i nodded. "okay." he said.

"What's your favorite subject sydney?" hans asked. "English." shannan said at the same time i said "Social studies.". he looked confused.

we kept a straight face. "shannan. do you like being a twin?" he asked me. "I love it." i said. shannan nodded. "same here"

"Do you get confused alot?" he asked shannan. "Yes" we said at the same time. my brothers were laughing now. "What kind of twins are you?" he asked. normally i would be furious with this question but i was amused. "Mirror identical" we said at the same time.

"You arent shannan are you?" he asked me. "No" we said at the same time.

we got grounded for 3 weeks after the vacation for doing that. hans was telling us how his wife was going to have twins but he hoped they didnt do that.

we never tried that trick again. although we DO switch-places all the time.
